What you give us
When you fill in a form we receive the fields you can see. Your name, your email if you give one, your phone, and the note you wrote about the books. There is no hidden field that stores a message you did not write. A honeypot field sits off screen so automated submissions drop out, and it is not used to identify you.
If you open the calendar and pick a time, Microsoft Bookings takes the booking details on our behalf and they reach the same practice. The frame does not load until you ask for it or you have scrolled to it, so a visit to that page does not by itself send a booking.
What is collected on its own
The site can record a page view with two random identifiers your own browser stores, one that lasts and one that ends when you close the tab, plus the page that referred you and any campaign tags in the link you followed. It is first party. It stays on our server. It exists so we can tell which pages are worth keeping.
If your browser sends Do Not Track, that page view is not recorded. There is no advertising pixel, no visitor identification service, and no third party analytics. The network that delivers the pages logs ordinary request data for security and rate limits.
Why it is held
To reply to you. To prepare for the call you asked for. To do the work if you engage us. To see which pages earn their place. To keep junk out of the form. To meet ordinary record duties.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for anyone else's advertising. No decision about you is made by a machine.
An enquiry is kept for as long as it takes to answer it, and for as long as an engagement and the records behind it require. If you would rather we did not keep it, say so on the phone and it goes. You can also ask what we hold and ask for a correction. The same number reaches the person who can do it.
A video call is a conversation about your books. We do not publish notes from that call on this site, and we do not add you to a list you did not ask for. The only people who see the form are the people who do the work.
